These are synthetic pronunciation clips generated locally for Soda, not recordings of a learner or a hired narrator.

The model card identifies the training recordings as LibriVox public-domain material. See MODEL_CARD.txt for the source summary. The MP3 clips are generated from Soda-authored vocabulary and examples. No third-party dictionary recordings have been copied.
Generation engine: Piper (https://github.com/OHF-Voice/piper1-gpl), GPL-3.0, used only in a local build step. The deployed Site does not distribute the engine or neural-model weights.
Generated pronunciation is a study aid and has not been independently reviewed word by word.

Academy 0.4 listening clips
48 additional clips were generated from original Soda Academy listening passages and dictation sentences using the same Cori high voice. These are synthetic single-voice study recordings. Course clips use mono MP3 at24kbps/22.05kHz; older vocabulary clips retain their original encoding. Generation script: scripts/generate-course-audio.py. No learner recordings or third-party course recordings are included.
Academy 0.5 advanced practice clips
24 more clips cover the original C1/C2 short listening excerpts and dictation sentences, bringing the course total to72 and the full vocabulary/course manifest to1072 clips. They use the same synthetic Cori high voice and24kbps mono MP3 encoding. Advanced listening tasks practise interpretation of short excerpts; these recordings are not full-length certificate examinations.
